1. The Deathless Girls by Kiran Millwood Hargrave I first heard about this book on bookstagram and I'm really looking forward to reading it, I'm saving this for October for one of those kind of 'spooky' feel reads. I'm also really glad I was able to pick up a signed edition from Waterstones! 2. Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell My feelings about this can be summarised as: I've also just started a re-read of 'Carry On' in preparation for this and I'm so excited to be back with Baz and Simon again, our two dumb gays. 3. The Folk of Air series by Holly Black No one ever shuts up about these books! So I've decided I'm gonna read them, because they hype has not died down and that's telling me something - either you're all on your twilight shit again or this actually good. Only time will tell with this one, but I am excited to dive into it and see what it's all about. 4. City of Ghosts by Victor
Hi All! Again, it's been a while and normally I'd apologise and promise I'll get back on track and post regularly - but I'm not going to do that this time. This time we're going to look forward fully instead of looking back, after all it's a new year right? So, I'm not going to make any promises, I'm not going to sit here and say I'm going to post and read regularly. I'm going to do what I want to do, and do what's right by me. I don't want this to feel like a full time commitment, this is meant to be a way for me to unwind - not stress me out with deadlines. This year is going to be me posting what I want when I want, and it's not always going to be regular - my mental health is too irregular to promise that. Instead I want to talk about what I want to do going forward into 2019 with this blog and my reading. I'm going to listen to an audiobook for the very first time - kinda shocking I know. I just never tho
Hi Everyone! MY A LEVELS ARE FINISHED!! They went okay I think, but that's not what is important on here. I'm just excited that I now finally have time to blog again, and I thought I should talk about the books I've read recently (there's not a lot btw). I've got to be honest, I kinda like the idea of recent reads instead of monthly wrap-ups so I may stick to doing this but I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I hope you're all great and here are the books I've read over the last two months. 1. Scythe by Neil Shusterman There's so much hype surrounding this books, but boy is it well deserved. Neil Scusterman has created an absolutely amazing world that I love and can't wait to read more of. I really liked our main characters, including the scythes and their apprentices, and the relationships all them had with each other - including Citra and Rowan's. However, whilst this relationship is fine at the moment I am worried it could be mishandle
Hey there! :)
