Books I'm Taking on Holiday

Hey Everyone!

So I'm flying out to Florida for two weeks and I'm feeling pretty excited about it, but that also mean blog updates/comment replying will be even slower than usual as I'll have limited wifi and whatnot.

Obviously though, I'm taking some books with me because I need to catch up to that reading goal I set and it's getting kinda embarrassing how far behind I am - so these are my holiday reads!

1. A Gathering of Shadows and A Conjouring of Light by V. E. Schwab

I loved A Darker Shade of Magic which I only read really recently, and I can't not carry on with the sequels immediately - the first one was just too good. I think these however will be more flight reads for me, because goddamn it's a long ass flight. I'm really excited for these though and I'm hoping I can either finish or get near to finishing this trilogy within the next two weeks!

2. Flame In The Mist by Renée Ahdieh

I think I read the first two chapters of this in kindle format about a week ago and loved what I read, but I had to put it down because of work and life just generally. However, I should get time to spend some time with my kindle and devour this book sometime over the next two weeks, and I know a lot of people love this so I'm very much looking forward to it.

3. The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic

So Brandon talks about this trilogy a lot, and it came up on my kindle store for like 99p and I thought 'fuck it'. I quite like Brandon's channel and combined with a cheap ebook it just kinda made sense to pick this up, I honestly have no clue what this book or trilogy is about but I often love knowing nothing about books.

4. This Savage Song by V. E. Schwab

Basically I want to read this because it's another Schwab book and I'm just living for her at the moment (if you hadn't already noticed). I honestly know nothing about this, and again, I kinda like that; I'm just excited to go into another world of her's - and knowing nothing about the Londons she created was amazing.

5. The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily. X. R. Pan

I talk about this book a while ago in this post, so you can read about why I want to read it there. I'm so happy it was down to 99p on the kindle store! Which meant I just had to snap it up. I'm really hoping I can get round to this during the holiday, but if not I'll try to get to it this summer or at the very least next summer - hopefully.

So that's all I'm attempting to take with me, however most of them are kindle ebooks so if others come up as cheaper on the store and I really want to read them I might swap them out. Are any of you going away soon? And if so, what do you plan to read?
